We did a search and found the correct spelling....Punxsutawney Phil....Guessed yesterday....Wrong....
Anyway....Phil actually passed-out in front of the crowd we hear....Too much stress on the little guy....
Crowd boos heard all over the place....
We hear Phil had a few-too-many-pops the night before to deal with the stress....
We also hear Phil will be in "Groundhog Rehab" for a few months....
The officials are calling it....Phil saw his shadow....They say....Hence 6 more weeks of winter....
Meanwhile....Ohio's Buckeye Chuck didn't pass-out....Did not see his shadow....
He predicts an early spring....
We'll go with Buckeye Chuck.
We figure he's sober....No need for rehab....Probably a more trust-worthy weather prognosticator.
We prefer the sober-esque weather guys anyway....
